Follow new updates and improvements to video2docs.

February 18th, 2026

Claude Sonnet 4.6 is now available in video2docs - delivering clearer step-by-step guides and documentation, stronger workflow understanding, and more polished output with fewer edits.

Try it on your next project:
Create a new project → Upload or record your workflow → Select Claude Sonnet 4.6 as the module → Generate your documentation in minutes

Behind the scenes, we also audited and tested all supported AI models. Instead of offering 10 options, we’ve narrowed it down to 5 carefully selected models - making your decision easier while keeping flexibility.

video2docs now supports:

Premium Tier

  • Claude Sonnet 4.6

Balanced Tier

  • Google Gemini 3 Pro

  • Claude Haiku 4.5

  • OpenAI GPT-4o

Budget Tier

  • Google Gemini 3 Flash

Each model is optimized for different needs - speed, quality, or cost, so you can choose what fits your workflow best.

We have been working hard and building new features, and improving our infrastructure.

The infrastructure updates probably excite us more than they excite you (yay, scalability!), so let’s jump straight to the features that matter most to you.

video2docs now supports videos up to 10 minutes

No more 5-minute limit - you can now upload videos up to 10 minutes long!
Just make sure your video is good quality and video size is under 250MB. :)

Translate documentation into 13 languages

With a single click, you can now translate your documentation into 13 languages: Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Arabic, Hindi, Polish, Dutch, Latvian, Lithuanian, Estonian, Finnish, Swedish, Norwegian, and Danish - all powered by DeepL.

If you need any other language - message us and we will do our best to add it as quickly as possible.

Share your honest feedback on documentation quality

You’ll now find a feedback section right below the generated documentation. Your rating and comments help us improve the quality of our outputs!

video2docs just got an upgrade! We’ve added new features to make your documentation process smoother and more efficient.

You can now record videos directly within video2docs, removing the need for any external tools. This makes it easier to capture demos, tutorials, or walkthroughs and instantly turn them into documentation.

We’ve also introduced new export options, allowing you to download your generated documentation as a professional PDF or HTML file for seamless sharing and integration.

These updates make it easier than ever to go from idea → video → polished documentation, all in one place.

video2docs is getting better and generating higher-quality documentation!

We’ve added support for audio narration analysis using OpenAI Whisper. This means the quality of generated documentation is now even better - video content analysis can be combined with audio narration analysis for richer results.

In the new project creation form, we’ve introduced a clear visual separation of LLM tiers, helping you make decisions faster and more easily.
